His love for Doctor Who has faded a bit since Matt Smith left. I’m still excited to see what the new episodes are going to be like though.

This was really cute. I won’t say too much because of spoilers but the scene where the 3 of them are together and get their sonic screwdrivers out was what prompted him to run and get his one. He got really immersed in it!
So who watched it?
This is what happens when you are on Tumblr late at night and then go straight to bed! You are bombarded with all these images from different fandoms one after the other. The things you love can cross weirdly. That’s what my brain decided last night… and I still think that would be really cool. Maybe one day The Doctor will be an androgynous Korean boy. I’d watch the hell out of that.
So, Doctor Who fans… what do you think of the next Doctor? Did you watch the reveal? It was on at 4am here so I just waited until I woke up… and which is why at about the time it was being revealed I was dreaming that it was GD.
I think the next Doctor might be a bit more scary? Or maybe I just think that because Peter Capaldi’s expressions scare me sometimes. I’ll have to wait and see!

We DID have TV show that we watched together. It was The Vampire Diaries and we had a rule that we only watched together- that was half the fun, enjoying it together. The episodes were all on my husband’s laptop… then one day…
I discovered he had watched quite a few episodes secretly by himself! I don’t enjoy watching them as much alone so I stopped watching and it ended up that we just didn’t continue watching. We should probably start again.
We always watch Doctor Who together, but since we are up to date with that, it’s easy to just watch the latest episodes together online.
The Vampire Diaries though…… I think we were somewhere in season two.
Are there TV shows that you enjoy more if you are watching them with someone else?

If you don’t watch Doctor Who this is a reference to an episode called ‘The Power of Three’ where cubes start appearing all over the world.
Thankfully, besides from flashing under the bed, the cubes have not done anything else to us…..yet.
You probably have to be a Doctor Who fan to understand this one. Or at least know there is a sonic screwdriver in the TV show. He really likes Doctor Who so I bought him a toy sonic screwdriver last year.
Might not have been the best idea because he can be really annoying with it!
