In reply to 코알라. I'm from Florida too! Represent. I live in Orlando so I have the typical American accent. Northern Florida typically sounds more southern, definitely.

Hahaha~ I live in the United States, and the American accent sounds SO different from the British accent to me. There’s a huge difference to us. It’s funny because I actually (along with many other Americans I’ve met) confuse the Australian accent with the British accent sometimes~ o3o

In reply to Gracie Tolle. I live in Florida and in the bigger cities here we have what is described as a Californian accent (essentially what you typically see on TV). But for a lot of people, especially those raised with parents who were from southern states or southern parts of Florida (I mean culture/accent wise not geographical location), they do get that slight southern accent when they have high emotions or if they're talking about family, etc. My mom does it and she was raised most of her life in Florida, but she was born in West Virginia. I don't do it though.

In reply to Magdalena Kastelik. Well, Portuguese is a romance language, it originates from Latin, that's why you find similarities with Italian. I'm very biased of course, but I do think Portuguese language is very beautiful :3 If you ever decide to learn, let me know if you need help :)

Oh wow… it’s so interesting! And I like the name “Barranquenho” 😀 sounds so cute hehe 😛 I know very little about Portuguese… the only words I know are some lyrics by Michel Telo xD which I learnt to sing phonetically by heart.. I’m pretty sure that in the way I pronounce them they make no sense though haha 😛 But knowing Italian, I can understand some of the words.. they sometimes sound similar 🙂 Actually, Portuguese is one of the languages that I would really love to learn; it’s very melodic 🙂
