Thank you for your kind comments :)

It was really difficult changing from traditional art and I'm still not great at comics but I'm learning every day. It still makes me happy too. I've got better at digital art so I'm branching out a bit, but yes, it's still so much better than how I made art before in terms of my happiness. I'm much happier now.

Wow. I totally get where you're coming from. I'm actually quite blown away. I understand how it feels to be good at something, and yet not find the joy you're expected to find while pursuing it full time. It's been one of the things I guess I realized early on, and it helped me make decisions throughout my high school and college life. (I hated biology and always got perfect scores. I mean I REALLY hated it. Definitely didn't want to do anything remotely medical) I also kind of instinctively knew that while I enjoy doing certain things for fun, studying anything seriously would suck the fun out of it, hence, even though I loved to write, I didn't pursue a degree in English. Happiness is the key, and you'll find it while doing the oddest things. The trick is to recognize that feeling, that passion and not let it go. I'm glad you're happy doing what you are now! Also, (and I'm sure you've heard this enough times) your paintings are fabulous! Chincha. I thought the second one was a photo, no kidding. And I've never thought of your comics to look anything less than professional. Pardon me, maybe it's because I kind of assumed that you made them purposefully like that, in a fun, colorful and playful way. At least, that's what I think when I look at your comics. No need to add more detail or spend more time. I'm sure the rest of the readers agree, we love your comics (and commentary) just the way they are.

Thank you for reading. I'm thinking over what I want to with my childhood stories, my siblings and I were very imaginative and I'd like to show the world we had in our imaginations, so I think the style will be really different to this blog. I think I'll update the new one once a week because it will be more detailed, but continue this blog every day.

That explains everything. WOW!!! O_O Amazing paintings! No wonder I'm soooo in love with your comics because you are truly a great artist Nic! Love the paintings too!

I know that cartoons are way too different from the work you have up there but I'm glad you're happy of what you do now and that's what art is all about. Keep doing what makes you happy! Believe me, you're doing it great! Thanks for sharing your story and good luck to the new website!

the Korean Husband is sooooo lucky to have you as his wife!
