"we go and bus in those less fortunate "illegal" Hispanic folks to our church so that we can worship together with them every Sunday. This helps us to identify our next Missionary destinations."

I'm sure you may not intend to be hurtful or rude, but this does not come across as compassionate, rather it seems pitying, judgemental and the choice of words is offensive. You could have left out the words "less fortunate" and "illegal" and the bit about missionary destinations and your point would have come across in a much more friendly way..

I will work hard then! I'm a very straightforward person so that should not be a problem. I just need to have more confident in myself.

I just want to tell you that we have over 100 Latinos at our Korean mega church, we go and bus in those less fortunate "illegal" Hispanic folks to our church so that we can worship together with them every Sunday. This helps us to identify our next Missionary destinations. And we have a several Korean guys married to a Latina at our church.

Don't worry about your skin color, you come across to anyone as how you think of yourself. You are what you believe of yourself. Have a confidence in yourself, and if the guy you want to date turn you down, maybe he is not for you, move on. Just remember, most Korean guys are shy and they won't ask you out (or anyone else for that matter), you might need to be a bit blunt about it... but it would help if you were friends with him first.

Thank you! I do like my skin color now but it was those comments from my family that kept me from liking myself or having confidence. I am blessed that I was born in the US because the part in Mexico that my parents grew up they are so obsessed with white skin. I have liked a couple of Korean guys but I was always to scare to get too close to them because I was just not that confident enough. I like my skin color but once in a while I tend to worry but its silly to worry over something so superficial.

But your right it does matter about who you are in the inside. The once in my family that do bug me about my skin color might be very white but they are just rude.

I am a Korean American, and I used to have a huge crush on this black (yes she did have dark skin) girl... that was until I learn that she was not mature, or did not have enough self confidence with herself. I think what's most important is who you are inside, not outside.

Hello this is my first time posting and I want to say that I love your videos and comics they are so funny!

I really liked this video! I love hearing Hugh's and Han's opinions because it really does surprise me what they say. I feel a little more confident now about my tan skin even if it might not be every Korean's guy opinion on what they said. I at least know there are some Korean guys that don't mind tan skin on a girl. I always here a lot of Korean guys on TV say they always want a girl with really milky white skin so I was surprise what they said.

I had a bit of a complex about my skin. I come from a very white looking Mexican family and I use to be made fun of a lot as a child and was told i was ugly because of it. It really had nothing to do about my face features to them dark skin meant you were automatically ugly. I got over it when I started school. I was born and raised in the USA and here being tan is something a lot of people want. So when I was told by some of my very white skin teachers that they have tried so hard to achieve the same tan as mine and told me that it was really pretty, to me it sounded crazy because I wanted their skin color. So it helped be like my skin color.

So when I started getting into Korean culture I would here a lot of guys say they wanted girls with milky white skin it would make me a bit sad. It would make me remember a bit of my past. But I am happy on what Hugh and Han said. So thank you it makes me feel a bit more confident!
