I don’t remember it but according to my mom, when my siblings and I were really little, we all wanted to be garbage men. We thought they had the coolest job because they got to ride around hanging off the back of a truck! I find that very funny now.

I live in one of those small towns where everyone knows everyone. Rural South Dakota. We moved here about 4 years ago and I love being in such a safe place to raise our daughter but only 30 minutes drive from a city.

I would totally come to your cafes! Have you thought of doing some MKH merchandise? I know I would totally buy a T-shirt or tote bag with a comic on it, maybe Mr. Gwon saying “What a nice!” ^^

I have wanted to be a million things throughout the years. At one point I wanted to be a cardio-vascular surgeon (and that still interests me), but certain experiences happened in my life that put me on the path of teaching. I’ve been professionally teaching for many years now, and I love it. The grading can be a but much sometimes, but it is always so rewarding to see students making progress. And teaching English as a second language also opens up so many doors to travelling and seeing more of the world, which is one thing that I love to do!

when i was younger i wanted to be a teacher. still do but now my dream has expanded that i want to teach english in korea. so far i think im on the right track. now if someone could just get me to korea… lololol

When I was in elementary school I wanted to be a teacher because I admired my teachers so much. I’d even pretend to have my stuffed animals do homework and then grade their homework and pretend to teach them things, haha. I also had a friend who was 3 years younger than me and I’d try to teach her how to multiply and such when she was too young to learn that. In middle school I wanted to be one of those people like on the discovery channel who rescues large cats like lions and tigers and then rehabilitates them. In high school I wanted to be an engineer. Now I have my degree in engineering, but I’m back to wanting to be a teacher. I’ve come full circle 😛 I mostly want to be a math teacher but if I do that then I can only get a 3 year certificate to teach and in the process I have to take more classes in order to qualify for a full teaching certificate which is expensive. So I’m thinking of going the English as a foreign language route, getting money saved up that way, and then teaching math after.
