I am breaking away!” 🙂 He is very young but it seems he already realises the importance of not giving up and doing one’s best. Another thing is the general Korean attitude to education. Now, I don’t want to generalise and I surely don’t have enough knowledge to speak about this, but having seen the news on KBS World and Arirang TV, I was really shocked about the whole aura and kind of a frenzy that accompanies the high school final exam… friends outside schools cheering, parents in temples praying… It was so much different than what I am used to, here in our country (or even continent, I would say). There is so much pressure on these kids and a lot of expectations from parents. Or was it only my impression?
