In reply to Hayley Rule. Hi! I'm Hispanic and my boyfriend is Korean. I know of another couple as well that's Hispanic and Korean. So there are definitely couples where the partner is not necessarily Caucasian. Like Nic said love is definitely about personalities. Cheers!

I think love and dating comes down to individual personalities, that’s what is important. Koreans tend to be more close-minded for a number of reasons – but it is changing. In my experience Korean friends say a lot of shit and say things without thinking about it. So I wouldn’t worry too much about what your Korean friends say.
The girls you see on this blog just happen to be Caucasian, we know other couples where it’s a Korean guy and a girl who is not Caucasian but they aren’t involved with blogging.

I am of mixed Australian-Filipino ethnicity. But I see that all the girls in relationships mentioned on this blog are of Caucasian ethnicity. Personally I feel at a disadvantage with Korean (and Asian men in general) because I’m not 100% “white”. Although a Korean guy at my language exchange recently told me that he “likes Filipino girls because they are nice and friendly” (I nearly fell off my chair)…My mind is Australian….but unfortunately my skin colour is not. I’m sorry to sound negative straight off the bat… but even my Korean friends reckon that I’m regarded as “black”, because my skin colour is darker than them. What are your thoughts?

I met my Korean boyfriend while working. I am a Canadian white older woman. I am a nurse and he was my patient. When he recuperated, he asked me out for dinner. I said yes, and slowly over time, our relationship developed and is still developing. He has lived in Canada for many years so is quite familiar with our culture, but he still has many Korean ways. He has taught me so much about his culture and I have come to love it. I am trying to learn everything I can now, from the language to cooking the food.
I do find it so funny when both cultures pass us, and “stare”. Occasionally, someone will be bold enough to question us, but most just stare. I was so glad when I found your site, and even though you are quite a bit younger, it is still the same for us.

I was just looking for multicultural diversities on the internet for my homeworks, and saw you guys couple on the youtube! It seems really pretty and it made me think that I dont need to marry with just korean girl but also I can make western girl friend or some others! Well its quiet big problem tht my English is lacking, But after seeing your video, Im trying harder to learn English, to become a nice boy friend of nice girl..haha when I get older I waana share beautiful love with girlfriend like you guys whether my girl friend is Korean or not. I agree – It is a lot about culture – not race or looks. My hubby is Korean-Korean and we’ve been married for 2 and a half years. He lived in Korea until we got married. Now we both live in the States. So most of the time, it’s cultural differences that sometimes get us into arguments and misunderstandings due to the language barrier. We speak mostly Korean at home. Even though I think I’m conversationally fluent in Korean – I’m not perfect and I end up misunderstanding A LOT. xD

Ir ecently found your comics on Instagram. They are adorable, you guys are so adorable! I spent the last few days reading all your old comic strips (which just get funnier and funnier btw) and I was wondering if you know what ever happened with J your guest blogger who met her husband in China and got married five years later. I would really like to know If she still has a blog still as well.
