Haha originally the bowties were a gift for my wedding with Han, from a family friend who is a wood turner. His name is Ernie Newman ;) I got a bit jealous of how good they looked on the boys so I thought I should wear one and see who noticed..

It was really interesting to watch that video, especially since I am currently dating a Korean myself. Really looking forward to part 2~~ ^__^

My 2 cents about the issue with Korean in-laws: Such happenings where Korean parents are totally against interracial dating actually do occur. The drama version might be a little bit hardcore, but the reality seems to be close to it. ㅋㅋㅋ

I myself can happily say I am in the lucky position where my boyfriend's parents seem to accept me pretty much, but I have an aquaintance who dated a Korean, too, and his parents were so much against their relationship they actually banned him from going outside and cancelled his phone and credit card and until he broke up with her. And this is one really hardcore example, in my opinion. So, like you mentioned, if the parents of the Korean partner already are totally against interracial dating then it really is near impossible to actually marry this guy, since family is a very big and influencial factor in Korean society.

Also, to all those girls trying to get a Korean boyfriend, you should still remember that this happens everywhere, in every culture and every country. Some accept it, some don't. It's not a single "Korean thing" so don't be scared.. It's all about finding the right guy, who also happens to have very open minded parents. ^_^

You two are so lovely! I can see why your in-laws love you too ^^ Thanks for asking the questions, and Sophie, is that Han's bowtie in your hair? Or does Han wear your hairtie as a bowtie?
