I love that you can walk into practically any given backpackers', anywhere in the world, and you will find an Aussie. woo!

I'm not sure if we travel more often, but I think when we do, we go for longer--if it's worth seeing, it's worth seeing properly :)

I think traveling is wonderful, and when the traveler comes back adds so much to their home countries. I have always been quite envious of countries where their young high school graduates go on gap year. More and more Americans are taking part in this, but it should be part of rite of passage for Americans. I think so many South Koreans going abroad and going to foreign universities really have benefited South Koreans economy and enriched the country overall.

Well not exactly, but some of it is! Especially Poland! haha. Everyone has been warning me about Norway - "its so expensive" - but from research it looks the same kind of costing as in my own city (which i admit is expensive) - so I guess that makes everything else seem cheap. haha. But also, Europe has the history and culture that I like. Museums + Galleries + Restaurants = VERY happy Cassie. <3 Actually, from Perth, Asia is the cheapest place to go. I can fly to SE Asia or sometimes even Korea for cheaper than flying to Sydney! its crazy!

Nichola if you are worried about staying warm, invest in an electric blanket for the bed. I was a little worried about putting one on our bed but it is amazing and I don't want to get out of bed! We found ours through Amazon. It will keep you nice and warm. Also look into Columbia Omni Heat apparal. As a ski instructor I have to stay warm on and off the slopes and I wear my leggings, socks, and sweaters around the house. I'm sure Columbia is available in Korea, I know North Face is. Fleece leggings, leg warmers and over sized sweatshirts are awesome too! Just some suggestions. I thrive in the winter and love it! Will it snow where you are? How are the ski resorts in Korea? Is it popular? Stay warm! Cheers! -Erica
