Ha! I am like this too. I think it has a lot to do with hormones as you wave goodbye to your 20s. ...not that i am ready to be a mum yet. but i am happy to live vicariously through my sisters or my friends for the next couple of years until i am. :)

I turned twenty this year and for the past two years I've been in your place (well, when you were twenty). Most of the baby pictures I see though are from my contemporaries. People I've gone to school with since middle school. Some since kindergarten. It's crazy to see so many people I've grown up with having kids. Especially because I know I still feel like a kid. I can't imagine raising a child at my age... especially going to school and working. In fact, I think most of them are just working because they just don't have the time. What's really sad is when I see that the parents split up because their young and just not in love with each other.

This is so true! You do change. I had my kids in my mid thirties. My husband was never interested in having children until his younger siblings became parents.
He became a dad 39. You should see all the grays that our kids gave him along the way.

with me it's kinda of strange. I always declared I wanted to be a mom young and I always loved kids but when I met my husband and my sister had her 2 girls, it felt like it was so much work it terrified me. the idea of having no time for my hobbies and living for someone else from that point on was terrifying. It's only the last couple of months that I've started to feel that I want to be a mom soon. I guess it will happen now before I get scared of something selfish again ^^

Same in my house. It's either natural (which is darkish anyway) or bleached.. I've opted for the lazier option..
