I mean, there aren’t wars and they are not criminals, and (east) asian countries develop so well and fast, they could get pretty well even better paid job as well than in North America or Europe. As I visited Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan, I felt very “safe” and “happy”, because people live so happily.
This assumption of “marrying for a visa” sounds so old and incomprehensible for me.

So marriage to him couldn’t change anything, really.
People often assume things either because of their ignorance, or because they are sad, miserable individuals, that seem to have no life of their own.
