If it's about bridges, Korea isn't really winning anything... Ask him when the first bridge (Hangang Bridge) in Seoul was constructed :) (1900 for the railway, 1925 for the roadway. There were pontoons before, but shhh... ;) )

Same with the us. I wad telling my bf about this show we have here about guys using metal detectors and digging up historical things, and he said I didn't know the usa had history didn't they just discover that like 200yrs ago. Yes, they did, but there is history like lewis and clark and the civil war. Then, we argued about how even though columbus discovered america lewis and clark explored it first.

In Spain, Europe we have buildings and paintings of all ages. Just say what do you want to see and I tell you the place. For example, near my house, in my small hometown there's a prehistorical- neolitical archaeol site, one roman aqueduct, one middle-age castle in ruins (it was seriously damaged during Spanish Civil War), an arab tower, seven catholic churches from the 16th century... and all the downtown from the 19th century.

In reply to <a href="https://www.mykoreanhusband.com/bridge/#comment-10533">schinken schneiden</a>.

Well me as a Dutch girl is small. I am only 1,72 cm and 6'3"is indeed not so tall by Dutch standards. Well it just so happened to be that I studied engineering and when I where drawing houses I always needed to make doors of at least 2,30m because of the Dutch people being so tall. And the floor level was like 2,70 until 2,80... I can reach the ceiling (2meter) of my house when I jump (It was build kinda around 15 years ago) but I can't do that with new buildings and houses.
