I like that. It’s dentally misleading, but it sounds magical. In the UK, it’s candy floss. Here (US) it’s cotton candy, which, if you think about it (generally we don’t), doesn’t sound like something you’d want to eat.

Grr, you know how you have that “no Korean in the kitchen rule or you pay a fine” in Australia? Maybe institute something similar in Korea? Obviously…it’s a little more difficult, but something like that? Also, I definitely don’t have the time to practice/study, but I find watching lots of kdramas and kvariety shows help haha.

It hasn’t really. It’s such a slow struggle. I can say things but I can’t really have conversations. It’s hard because Hugh speaks English to me mostly, even though I want him to speak to me in Korean, he slips into English. But then when he speaks to his parents they speak quite fast and in dialect so it’s not something I can easily pick up. Also working on the book has meant less Korean study. My goal is still to one day speak Korean well, it just takes so long.
