I never got drunk back in Australia, but recently I went to a welcoming party for my group in KUBA (80 odd people) and the others there (mainly another Australian) kept making me drink… which, being in Korea, I decided to try and test my alcohol limit… I legit got better at speaking Korean and I am hoping that is gonna rub off onto when i am sober.

I always thought this idea was stupid until I tired it. My Chinese does get better while I’m tipsy because I’m less afraid of making mistakes. However, this effect is limited because when I’m drunk I can’t get my tones right leading to some confusion and strange looks.
