I’m to visit her in Brazil and we are going to go into KoreaTown with her and her friend. She says I need to learn enough Korean so we can translate 3 ways. Her Friend > (Portuguese) BFF > (English) Me > (Korean) store clerks. Knowing her she will throw in sign language (American & Brazilian) as well. 😀

She was at a friend’s house skyping w/ me when her friend wanted to join in. So we started a 3 way conversation with her both participating (in 2 languages) and translating. It got so confusing that I’d say something in English & she’d turn to her friend and translate it into … English. Or vice versa, she’d translate Portuguese into Portuguese. It was hilarious.
