I live in Los Angeles with my significant other, an Asian Male. He grew up in Hawaii. His Chinese mother sent him to LA with an electric blanket, “because it’s so cold.” We have ongoing cold hand wars because I refuse to turn on the heat unless it gets really cold — not “Hawaii” cold. When we went to New England for Christmas, he got out of bed in the morning for under a minute before diving back under the covers and shivering. I came back a little later and told him I’d turned on the heat. “Good,” he moaned piteously. “Because I don’t know how!”

It’s been colder where I am too, I live in Texas & it snowed twice here last month, you can imagine what a surprise that was for us haha, we don’t tend to get snow down here!
