Not really that either. I love watching the little leagues (my step brother plays, and it’s really cute to watch!~) but other than that I’m really not fond of it, and laugh when people make fun of it. Same with baseball, and I even played softball for about 7 years. I enjoy watching and playing soccer/international football, hockey, track/field to a degree, and quidditch. Even with that, the only time I get snarky about any of those is when people claim they’re not even sports. But that’s just because your preference in sports can’t really determine whether or not they’re “worthy”, y’know? Even though I don’t see the point in football, doesn’t mean it isn’t a sport in my eyes. It’s just a sport that I don’t understand the hype of.

Eh, maybe when I go to Japan next year I’ll suddenly become real protective of the sports that I’m not fond of *shrugs*

Basketball…?

It’s Aussie in the sense that it is deeply ingrained in our culture. In summer everyone plays it, it’s on tv, we play it at school, I remember even going to a cricket museum on a school trip. But football in Australia varies from state to state….. rugby union, rugby league… AFL… where you are from can depend on what you play or watch. Cricket is everywhere though.
