Hello, my name is Miss faith, I'm from USA. I want to inform you all that there is a spell caster that is genuine and real. I never really believed in any of these things but when I was losing Garvin, I needed help and somewhere to turn badly. I found consultant.odia spells and i ordered a LOVE SPELL. Several days later, my phone rang. Garvin was his old self again and wanted to come back to me! Not only come back, the spell caster opened him up to how much I loved and needed him. Spell Casting isn't brainwashing, but they opened his eyes to how much we have to share together. I recommend anyone who is in my old situation to try it. It will bring you a wonderful surprises as well as your lover back to you. The way things were meant to be." you can contact the spell caster on ogbonispelitemple@hotmail.com he's very nice and great. , ,,,

In reply to <a href="https://www.mykoreanhusband.com/do-honey-butter-chips-taste-like-bad-butter/#comment-18256">Nic (MyKoreanHusband)</a>.

I would say that is pretty much true - a food company is generally in the food business and since the US is bigger and has had more time at this capitalist thing there must be more diversity for those reasons. But some companies, like GE for instance, own a butt ton of unrelated things. Like appliances and tv networks (as illustrated in 30 Rock.) But yeah, it's not like they've got the line of production or some of those other economic terms like vertical integration and horizontal integration that i don't really remember anymore... Or owning apartment buildings, that seems weird. And maybe the business structure is different too.
And though there is more diversity, I'm not sure how much there is in the "middle of nowhere" where cheap suppliers like Walmart and Costco seem to rule supreme.

I think those massive companies usually are just food though right? In Korea these companies own everything - appliances, apartment buildings.. literally everything.
Even if the US is just throwing money at products as well, the population is diverse and different enough to still want something that is kinda good and have a range of things...

Pepsi Co. alone owns sooo many different labels of soft drinks, snacks, cereals, sports drinks, etc, and I would say the other large food labels pretty much dominate the market in the US. Yes we have more massive businesses than South Korea (which may be dominated by only a few), but I would say that a small business has a pretty poor chance of getting something to turn into a craze. Trader Joes has some good stuff, but it's not making it to the majority of the nation (and it's not exactly a small company either.)
We theoretically have anti-trust laws, but I still think you throw money at a product here you're gonna come out on top too. And if someone does have product that out sells theirs, they are more likely to buy up that company... Inca cola was eventually taken over by Coke for that reason, people still liked it better than coke in Peru (although I guess in Peru only they still have ownership of the trademark...) Not to be contrarian here, I am just speaking for the United States.

Oh god, there are SO many chips that I love. I like Lay's Salt and Vinegar, Funyuns (onion rings), and Tostito's Tortilla Chips with Tostito's Queso dip...now I want some lol. To be honest, those chips don't even look that good on video! lol. The most popular "honey" flavored chips in the US are "honey dijon"...I can't even imagine how honey and butter go together.

Some of the stuff you share about living in Korea sounds scary. but it is shown in some dramas to some extent as well, so there must be some truth to that [big companies 'ruling' over everyone else] :<
i can't have chips because i have a weak stomach and i get stomach aches/ heart burns from this stuff. I occasionally eat the salty ones, but i used to like the paprika [sweet chilly] chips. there is a single brand that makes salty chips that are somewhat safer for me to eat [meaning, more of and with no bad results], but i only find it in a single supermarket to which i don't go often. i also avoid all snacks, lol.

We do have a snack, some pretzels, that are really good, and i can eat at leisure. they look like some rings, and this is what i call them. they're made locally with just flour, salt and water, lol. other brands also tried to make them, but failed because they added sugar. ;)
