Is there a chinatown or Asian shopping area near you? Some Korean styles can be found in small Asian clothing stores. So you may be able to find something you like somewhere like that.

I do love Korean fashion but I don't know if I would look good in it. I feel that only korean girls really look good in the clothes but then again I haven't seen many non Koreans wearing that style of clothing. I am going into summer soon and I want to buy new clothes like Korean fashion but I don't know where to get some. I can't go to yesstyle because i'm not 18 yet and I don't think my parents would understand me ordering clothes from another country. Any ideas?

I don't think it's that bad but they are sooooo sensitive and self-conscious about it, they don't wanna reveal top of their head at all. hehe. Thanks for making me laugh!

Oh so greasiness is really bad? Aussie girls here tend to do the high ponytail or a messy bun topknot when their hair is greasy.

I've been rolling on a floor (and still reading. hehe) for an hour or so while reading your posts and comics. I love your sense of humor!

As a Korean lady (married to American man) I felt sort of obligated to explain a bit about "Korean fashion."
You are right about everything mentioned here! I visited Korea last summer and I wore a tank top and capri shorts, something I just wore in the U.S. Well, I felt like I was a superstar with some exaggeration and sarcastic humor. Literally every single person looked at me on a street. (my friend said no make up at all added too.- No make up on a young woman is seldom seen over there unless they cover up with hat AND sunglasses)

They sure don't like showing chest/back as well as don't want other women wearing that way.

Also, the baseball cap thing. hahaha... I must add another fact here.
Asian hair (mostly north asian such as china, korea, japan, etc.) is composed very diffrently from Caucasian's or Latino's , etc. It naturally contains lots of protein which gives the hair awesome shiny, healthy look. But on the down side, it gets greasy faster than other races'. Most Korean women wash their hair everyday. Yes. You read it right. EVERYDAY. Some does every 2 days but I'd say EVERYDAY for the majority of women. To me, it doesn't look that gross even if they don't wash their hair for 3 days. But you can see the hair on the top area of head starts to split a bit. For some reason, showing this tiny sign of grease is a super embarrassment for Korean women.
So, if you're running busy all day, don't really have time to wash hair, what would you do?
Wear a hat! Especially a baseball cap. It goes well with pretty much any fashion styles, and perceived an image of a cute, lively girl. :)

Oh, one last thing. I like Korean fashion because you can find something very simple and chic!
