As someone who’s worn ELIZABETHAN court dress at times (& made it) I find hanboks(& kimona) rather freeing to wear LOL LOL (in the SCA & cosplaying….) 18th/19th century corsets – OMG Love your webtoon so much, BTW !

I wear mine to anime conventions every once in a while and that happens every time. It’s like, where was that book that I was just reading? Oh, it’s somehow gotten INSIDE my skirts, ooph. But I will say thank god for giant bathroom stalls because that is the only way that I can go to the bathroom in a hanbok or any pouffy dress.

How do you keep warm with the hanbok like in winter? I’ve only worn it once after it was given as a gift from my KH family to attend a wedding eons ago and it was just hilarious. I was wearing my jeans underneath coz whatever that came with it to wear underneath was hard to figure out. Even the way the top is wrapped around wasn’t that comfortable for me either.
I liked the skirt though and I would like to wear it once again but I just have brave the next time I’ll have to wear that. Hanboks are nice to look at but makes me think twice if I’m the one having to wear it.

Could be worse. Once while chatting with her best friend in Wisconsin, my wife was looking around for something with increasing agitation so I asked what she was looking for.

“My phone,” she said.

I asked her, “The one in your hand, you mean?”

It still gives me a chuckle to this day. ^_^
