I hope my visa process will be relatively smooth too! Although not quite that easy as we will be getting married in Korea so I will not have a lot of time to get certificates and such compiled before I need the visa. Good luck to the move! I’ll be near Seoul in the summer (and for the indefinite future after that) so if you have a meet up there I will be excited!

The funny thing is, my favorite number throughout most of my life was 4. Then I heard about the imfamous number and how it was perceived in some Asian countries.

How nice! That sounds so much easier than the immigration systems of all the countries I’m familiar with (US, UK, Australia). I am glad it was no big deal. Do you just extend it once a year indefinitely? Or do they make it longer at some point, for instance if you wanted to be there for 10 years, would you have to do it yearly?
