In reply to Nic. It is short for 'fancy stationery'. Korean teenagers (especially girls) are keen to fancy stuff so maybe they made up the word and it became the 'word' in Korea..we pronounce this as 'P'ancy tho. lol

I would never have been able to guess that fancy referred to stationary ;o I wonder how stationary came to be fancy.
