In reply to Ruby. I quizzed my husband about this and it's the way Koreans say it, so the accepted Korean way. Which I guess happens with French a lot, like so many French words in English that are said the English way that must sound butchered to French people. It's not his attempt at French, he is using a phrase that is used in Korean and is using it in the Korean style that is natural to him. So I think we can cut him some slack haha.

I can’t get into any of the songs on Coup D’Etat. I feel like a bad fan girl, although I do love that GD seems to be as much of a francophile as I am (but he pronounces the P in ‘coup’ and you don’t do that lol!).

MK Ultra rules in Hollywood and is also in KPop. I think GD is saying he is an Illuminati slave and mind programmed to be one. In other videos he sports the butterfly symbol that he has been under MK. He has many personalities which are all tainted now. Black and white mixed together symbolise the blending of good and evil. In the end he becomes red – colour of the devil. He does wear the fangs. Love the song but the video is a bit scary – cool yes but definitely scary. Coup D’etat means revolution from what I have been told by my Korean husband lol.
