There’s not a lot of English blogs or articles that explain what life is like for men during their military service. Thank you for giving me a different perspective. I’m an Australian and I met my Korean boyfriend in Seoul and now we’re in an LDR. His experience is actually quite different to Han and Mr. Gwon haha but he is in the Army and I think he is one of the few people who says he actually enjoys being in the army

I was watching one of the music shows a few years ago (the 70’s 80’s one–the host was a singer too, when he was younger–was tall and had silver hair and mustache, but can’t think of his name >< I'm glad they got rid of the celebrity unit—it wasn't fair to the non-celebs, because too many were getting away with things regular service people wouldn't be able to. They can still sing and dance doing their service, to entertain other soldiers or visiting family, or use their talent to promote military service—but there have always been celebrities having to do their time in the military–and there always will be–so everyone should be treated equally and fairly.
[[ and just because I watched Han and Sophie after this–I wanted to say that they look very much alike, and their daughter is very cute!]]

this is really sad for me because my boyfriend is going to the military, he already moved back to Korea and I cant sleep or think straight T.T I miss him so much I could die right now. I hope our relationship can go trough this x.x

Han is so handsome… x)) I know he’s taken but I can’t help noticing it. And I agree, Mr. Gwon looks like a kitty in my eyes too haha! Cute ^^

What Han means is that Korean guys exaggerate about their time in the military. Like playing up how dangerous it was or how much they actually did combat stuff. Both of them are likely to talk more in-depth about it in future videos.

There was a separate celebity unit but there isn’t now due to scandals.

Han has been in Australia for 3 or 4 years which is less time than Hugh but Han is very good at mimicking people and has spent the time working on the Australian accent. Hugh is less inclined to lose his Korean accent.
