Oh, I see. Well, thinking that generally in every country the super wealthy make up to 1% of the population, of course it would be difficult for the average person to mingle with them.
It just occurred to me that in a way, these super unrealistic dramas can encourage people to study more. Of course not every wealthy person studied a lot, but for those without an entrepreneurship skill school is their way into earning a lot of money.

OH! no mater how wealthy a person is, they still need to use the toilet like every other mortal, haha ;) and if the need strikes in the middle of nowhere... they will definitely not release themselves in their pants ;)

Thanks for replying!

In a hierarchical society some of them are definitely arrogant. You see it with CEOs who get caught in corruption and all that. And like the woman with the macadamia incident on the plane. There is probably a difference between those who are born into the wealthy families that control everything and just normal entrepreneurs who make money though. I've never met anyone in those super wealthy families, I've just met wealthy people who are in the entertainment industry and they were nice and not arrogant.

For the average person in Korea, their lives never cross with the very rich. So it's really unrealistic how poor girls even cross paths with a wealthy guy like that... and then continue to randomly meet!

I remember one time when waiting at the bus stop in the next town over and an expensive black car with a proper driver pulled up. An obviously very wealthy woman - who looked like a rich drama mother - got out and rushed inside to the use the bathroom. I think she was only using it because it was the only one in the middle of nowhere as they were driving through. It was an interesting moment seeing the car and how she was dressed and how out of place it was and stark reminder that there is a whole other world above all us ordinary people.

Aww, this is so nice~~~ Mother in law seems to really care about you if she call you for this stuff, hehe.

You talked a lot about how Kdramas are not realistic when they portray a romantic relationship. but, how about rich people? Everyone who is rich in kdramas is impossibly arrogant. Is this seen in everyday life?
