I cannot leave the plastic on stuff. I hate it. It’s like having that annoying scab on your knee that you just want to pick off so bad because you know you’ll feel so much better when it’s gone.

My husband and I fight over who gets to pull that magical cling off when we buy electronics and the like. My in-laws though love to keep it on! I always thought that it was just a Latino thing, but I guess not! We secretly go through their house when we’re there and remove what we can. They still haven’t noticed…

It has to be the Asian thing…my parents keep the plastic on their phones even if there are air bubbles. And my dad kept the plastic wrapping on the TV remote forever, and taped it up 10000 times even when it became gross. When he finally realized it was unsalvageable he then he used plastic wrap to cover it again. And that just 2 examples of keeping plastic on. I’m obviously not Asian enough, I rip plastic right off…butttt I DO have a screen protector for my iphone and ipad and a case…so isn’t that similar?

I am a rip it off, but my dad is a keep it on. He still has the plastic cover on the face of his smart phone, which wouldn’t be too bad except that it has words on it with arrows pointing to the side buttons. The one time I had to borrow it, it was too distracting to use because I needed to see was covered up by the words on the cover. Grrr…arg!

Isn’t he scared the plastic would melt OR catch fire?? i remove the plastic off of things as well… scratch that, not me, my flatmate, but i dont really careespecially wen the stuff is theirs. if we both use, i compromise, lol. plastic on stuff wouldnt bother me, as long as it doesnt pose a danger… :/ good luck
