Being an Asian (Indonesia), I like to eat rice with some gravy for lunch. But when there’s no time to prepare that, I’d go for noodle. They’re just so awesome. Even though my wife (she is from Belarus) would somewhat against it (or other instant foods, for that matter), and claimed that it’s too much chemical in them. :))
