Haha, yes, I miss having an oven!! I want to bake cookies for my students, but I can’t. And there are so many easy meals I could make if only I had an oven. 🙁 Hmph. Maybe I will invest in a toaster oven one of these days. . . It’s just so annoying to go all the way to another city, try to find one, and then carry it back. :/

So fun that you got to make bread! Nothing like homemade bread! When we lived in Korea, I bought a toaster oven and baked banana muffins all the time in there!

My set of oven mitts got dirty with hot wax [the type you use to remove hair on your legs]. then i have no idea how they caught fire too. needless to say i haven’t used any oven mitt since. I have several over the years, but all got destroyed somehow.. my regular kitchen towels on the other hand are perfectly fine..

I miss having an oven!! Back in California I was a Baker, so being ovenless feels so strange!

I do bake cookies sometimes in my little toaster!
