In reply to woojoo rang. Not at all. It doesn't happen, Australia is mostly safe, but there can sometimes be attacks at night but it's not racist. In fact, one of our Korean friends was one of the people attacked last year in Australia. But it was not racial at all- it was just a random bad attack that could have happened to anyone. What happened was, a journalist contacted our friend and asked questions, then when he wrote the article he said it was a racist attack, but it wasn't at all. Our friend was really upset that journalists are lying and saying there are racists attacks in Australia. So please don't believe those types of news articles that say there are racist attacks in Australia.

Sometimes my Japanese friends English isn’t correct or when she’s speaking to me she’ll speak in Japanese by mistake.

I speak both Japanese and English, so I occasionally mess up my grammar in English, especially if I have just been speaking in Japanese for a while. A few days ago I was at a restaurant and asked to pack my leftovers up. The waitress asked if I needed one box or two and I said “Box one, please.” She looked at me like I was crazy.

Usually it is me. I think my brain works faster than my mouth and I usually leave out important words that make the sentence. Or I am always calling someone by the wrong name when I am busy doing something.
