I wasn’t able to speak English well in high school. I didn’t know how to read a novel and write an essay. I wanted to give up. However, I didn’t give up. I tried to do best in school and tried not to disappoint my parents.

I’m proud of myself my English-language skill is good.

I know right? And I dont understand why because apparently to teach in Australia you need more than just TESOL certification.

oh that is bad too. sometimes this entire world needs a good kick in the pants.

Also the other problem Koreans have are other Koreans ripping them off too. Koreans that have been in Australia longer than them and take advantage of their naivety. I think the guy that didn’t pay Hugh was Korean. It’s a really normal situation for cleaning companies to not pay for “training” meaning they don’t pay for weeks and they pay below minimum wage. Huge companies like Coles and Woolworths use these cleaning companies knowing full well that they are cheaper because they underpay their workers.

That’s what I’ve always thought about that teacher. She must have been pretty dumb.

There are a huge amount of Asian students who have problems with F/P sounds. It’s such a basic thing to know when teaching English. There are so many dodgy teachers at these English schools.
