Out where I live, there is almost all vineyards. They cover the hills out here. People do that and pear and walnut harvesting. I have never done it, but it is hard work and fruit trays get heavy and sometimes attract bees or wasps. You gotta be tough! I really like these videos.

American college students often dream about backpacking through Europe, but after your description, I bet some of them will think twice! It would be interesting if you found some people to interview who did working holidays in the US or other countries to see how it was different or the same.
