I was wondering whether to start watching this series, but now I definitely will. Looking at the premise I thought that was just going to be a lame flower boy sitcom, making jokes at the expense of people in the countryside. Glad that the creators are making something that has quality!

Thanks so much for this review! After watching the vid I searched online and discovered there are lots of Korean dramas (including Modern Farmer) available to watch on Hulu Plus. The video quality is pretty low, but it’s easy and legal!

I was wondering if you two have seen the drama “Liar Game”. I just recently watched it and it has become one of my favorites so far. It’s the most unique, plot twisting, mind game playing Korean drama I have ever seen. I read that it’s an adaptation of a japanese magna. Although I do wish the ending had a little bit more depth, it does allow the plot to continue for a second season. I highly recommend it.

Ooooh the ugly army jacket made it appearance! hahaha. It sounds very interesting, but I’m afraid of Korean drama, I can count the ones that I had see where there is a happy ending; I like happy ending after all the drama, maybe I’ll give it a try.

Oh, im really interested in this aspect of real life aspects. Most of the shows are so glamorous and unrealistic that are pure entertainment. [reality shows are the worst >.> ] Thank you so much for the review, i will give it a try 😀

I really liked your review so I decided to start watching this kdrama. In my country, there’s some people from the capital that decide to live to smaller cities where they can have a more pleasant life and so they can raise their children with tranquillity. (I kinda envy some European countries where you can live in villages and take the train to go to the big cities to work or visit . I think that I would love to live in a place like that.)
Are you watching “Pinocchio”? I really like it since it criticises the media and how lies and rumours can hurt people. (I think that the screenwriter is incredible) And I love the characters. 🙂
