“These days I can’t even tell if he is joking or actually really annoyed” So true. The thing with knee jerk reactions and even habits is that sometimes you don’t realize that you don’t actually mind any more. I think there is also an aspect of expectations too in that people expect a certain reaction from me so I feel obliged to react a certain way. It’s just easier than working out how I really feel right now. Obviously I can’t speak on behalf of your husband but inferring from the comics he doesn’t seem insincere. What I mean is that if he is joking, I think you would know. For us it’s funny either way, hehe.
