More specifically in this case wrestling, where you have the biblical story of Jacob wrestling with an archangel, or the ancient Babylonian and Sumerian epic of Gilgamesh wrestling with Enkidu, or Heracles wrestling the nemedian lion during one of his tasks in his famous twelve labors, or the norse god of thunder Thor wrestling with the personification of old age at the frost giant king’s lair in Jotunheim etc.
