Both my brother and my father are very skilled with home improvement. My father just finished putting in hard wood floor in my parent’s bedroom. My Dad does all sorts of carpentry. But whenever my Mother hears about people paying someone else for home improvement, she is like why? And I tell her not everyone is as talented as Dad and she should appreciate him more. Heh. (By the way, I’m from New York)

I saw the photo. Poor Hugh he looked clueless! You can do it Mr Gwon! In Argentina we dont usually do much home improvement but when something gets broken or anything like that, men are the ones who tend to take care of it. They are usually very handy.

lol poor Hugh, he is gonna become a handy man by the time you go back to Korea XD But here in Costa Rica it depends on the family, since my family had always being influence by D.I.Y (most of the family once work for one of my uncle’s hardware store) we are used to using the weekend to fix things up, but is not that common here to be honest.
