Oh, i had a friend in school who used to do that! (This is in Sydney btw). I’m not really sure if it’s a common thing in Australia though…maybe that friend was into the US culture? Haha no idea.

At least in new york we didnt. Maybe other families did it? We did punch if we saw a volkswagen beetle. We call them “bugs” or “buggies”. So the phrase to punch when you saw one is “punch buggy”. Do you do this in Australia too??
