In reply to Magsta. They are much more relaxed about ID photos in Korea, they can be photoshopped and everything. Sorry I don't know much else about ID cards haha.

Dear Nichola, I was watching the drama “Uncontrollably Fond” lately and in episode 3 there’s a scene where Kim Woo Bin is looking at Suzy’s ID card. It looks interesting because:
A) She’s smiling in her ID photo, which is different from Australia’s driver’s licence “no smiling” policy. Does it not matter for Korean ID cards?
B) At the back there seemed to be a list of addresses which Suzy’s character previously lived in over 4 years. Could you please tell us more about this? How often do you need to renew an ID card?
C) Are there different types of ID cards? Do you get one as soon as you are born?

Sorry for the questions, it just happened to pique my curiosity while I was watching. ^^ If you’re too busy then no worries!!
