Oh dear, watched the vid, and had a small giggle at your story too.

Need to compile a list of all things Koreans should not say in english… That could be interesting and funny lol.

In reply to Claire j.kim. Haha... oh that is bad! Yeah L and R are hard for Koreans. Native English speakers can hear a big difference between R and L, but Koreans can't. Sometimes they just make the sound half way between R and L too.

My korean friend’s english name is Rooney bcoz he likes Wayne rooney.
But he couldn’t pronounce it well even though its his own name. So when he introduce himself he said “My name is Loony.” Then Australia ppl ask him “Really?” and he answered “Yes. I am loony.”. lol He didnt know what loony means. Actually he didnt know he was saying his name like that.
