My husband's aunts made a huge batch of homemade kim 2 or 3 months ago, and even though we eat it with every meal (and I also eat it as a snack, shhhh) the container still looks full!. It's like it multiplies or something....

Have your inlaws ever given you homemade kim? It's so delicious!

hmmm, most people now days only see the 'gim' in the packaging all prepared and such with a bit of oil, salt and seasoning etc etc but the pure form of seaweed is actually just dried seaweed. if u ate that like a snack, which happened quite a lot not that long ago, there is a high chance it can get stuck in your throat and your mouth. possibly, this is why people say you should always eat it with rice maybe. just my theory on this thing i suppose. i even heard of stories where people choked themselves and died coz of it....could be an urban myth but it is plausible since the pure form of gim does get really sticky when u have it raw,
