I am currently 6 months pregnant. The daddy is Korean and he plans on speaking Korean to our son 100% of the time. We live in Quebec so French is the main language here. But we communicate to each other in English! We plan on focusing on French and Korean and then English once our son goes to high school.
It’s a very good idea to focus on Korean tho. I think I’ll do the same as well. I want him to speak Korean very well.

This is perfect! I’m also in the same situation as Sophie when it comes to bilingual language training in our family. My native tongue is English and my husband, Spanish. I’m sure that this will be very helpful. Thank you!

Such a wonderful idea! I was curious about how you were going to go about it, but now that I know, I think it’s a lovely way! I would like to raise my children bilingual, although I am not bilingual myself, but I think it will give them a broader mind. Hopefully I can learn Korean or Japanese enough to teach my future children. 🙂 Good luck! I’ll be following your blog too!
