However I’d like to point out that Stoicism seems to be misunderstood in this article.

Stoics are not just introverted submissives like that.
The principle of a Stoic is that he believes happiness takes an effort and perspective, one can constantly face irritating, awful things in life, but be happy because he keeps a positive look at things.
They also believe that the best life is a happy life, of someone who chooses intelligence over pleasures or materials, tries his best to be a good, ethical person, good to others, etc. The ideal life, really.

I just wanted to correct this! Thanks πŸ™‚
