My husband is similar. Except, he always makes excuses, usually about saving money, not to go out at all. On the rare occasion I do get him out of the house, he (usually) isn’t too picky about how we spend our money. But then, he knows i’m a penny pincher, too XD

Ahaha, it’s so funny that you said that – it’s absolutely the same here too. I live in Sacramento (capital of California, about 5 hours north of LA and Koreatown) and there are WAY more Vietnamese and Chinese people living in the area, but I swear, if you want to find the Koreans, go so a sushi place – even if the people working there aren’t, you know the owners are. =P
My favorite Japanese food place is a little hole-in-the-wall owned by a Korean family. They’re totally cute and awesome ^^

On the other hand, my friend (who is American born Chinese) works for a bigger sushi restaurant that is also owned by Koreans, but unfortunately – in her experience – these owners are nicer to their Korean workers and a little stingy with everyone else >_<
