<p>I&#8217;ve also met Koreans who say they don&#8217;t like sandwiches, which always seems strange to hear. Who doesn&#8217;t like sandwiches?? Everyone likes sandwiches! Then I saw what sandwiches were usually like in Korea and understood why many people disliked them.</p>
<p>He is always telling me to put more cheese on everything. He is trying to get better eating habits but giving up cheese completely might be out of the question.</p>

<blockquote><p>What is your favorite Korean meal and what is his favorite Australian meal?</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p></blockquote>
<p>Let&#8217;s start with my favorite Korean meal. I like a lot of Korean food. I really like samgyupsal (grilled pork belly) especially with kimchi. I do tend to order bibimbap a lot because I love all the vegetables. (Luckily I often take photos of meals I order so I can show some).</p>
<p><a href="http://www.mykoreanhusband.com/cheese/bibimbap/" rel="attachment wp-att-1799"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1799" alt="Bibimbap" src="http://www.mykoreanhusband.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Bibimbap-300x225.jpg" width="300" height="225" srcset="https://www.mykoreanhusband.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Bibimbap-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.mykoreanhusband.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Bibimbap-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://www.mykoreanhusband.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Bibimbap-400x300.jpg 400w, https://www.mykoreanhusband.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Bibimbap.jpg 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></a></p>
<p>I also really like japchae and yukgaejang. And I love lots of side dishes!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.mykoreanhusband.com/cheese/japchae/" rel="attachment wp-att-1800"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1800" alt="Japchae" src="http://www.mykoreanhusband.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Japchae-300x225.jpg" width="300" height="225" srcset="https://www.mykoreanhusband.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Japchae-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.mykoreanhusband.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Japchae-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://www.mykoreanhusband.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Japchae-400x300.jpg 400w, https://www.mykoreanhusband.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Japchae.jpg 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></a>While I do like a lot of Korean food I can still be picky. My husband orders this a lot but I refuse to eat it.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.mykoreanhusband.com/cheese/pig-intestines/" rel="attachment wp-att-1801"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1801" alt="Pig Intestines" src="http://www.mykoreanhusband.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Pig-Intestines-300x225.jpg" width="300" height="225" srcset="https://www.mykoreanhusband.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Pig-Intestines-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.mykoreanhusband.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Pig-Intestines-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://www.mykoreanhusband.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Pig-Intestines-400x300.jpg 400w, https://www.mykoreanhusband.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Pig-Intestines.jpg 2048w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></a>Yeah&#8230; pig intestines soup.</p>
<p>My husband is a lot less picky than me, especially when it comes to Australian food. The only major thing he doesn&#8217;t like is lamb, and I swear that&#8217;s just psychological, not to do with taste at all. He doesn&#8217;t have a particular favorite Aussie meal, he just likes almost everything. Something he has taken a real liking to here is cheese though. He said he hated cheese when in Korea, and having seen the cheese available in Korea, I can understand why. But here in Australia there is such a huge range of good quality cheeses so he has realised cheese is delicious. He also likes eating crackers with dips too, something not really done in Korea.</p>
<p>Over Christmas when we were with my family we had a lot of cheese and crackers. Now usually we set them out on the table for everyone to have for morning or afternoon tea, but my husband would just get them for himself and sit at the table stuffing his mouth. (I also drew my siblings in the background).</p>
<div id="attachment_1802" style="width: 594px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="http://www.mykoreanhusband.com/cheese/cheese-and-crackers/" rel="attachment wp-att-1802"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-1802" class=" wp-image-1802" alt="cheese and crackers" src="http://www.mykoreanhusband.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/cheese-and-crackers-1024x682.jpg" width="584" height="388" srcset="https://www.mykoreanhusband.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/cheese-and-crackers-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https://www.mykoreanhusband.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/cheese-and-crackers-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.mykoreanhusband.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/cheese-and-crackers-450x300.jpg 450w, https://www.mykoreanhusband.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/cheese-and-crackers.jpg 1500w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-1802" class="wp-caption-text">This is an accurate representation of our Christmas.</p></div>
<p style="text-align: left;">In particular he likes water crackers with <a title="http://www.merseyvalley.com.au/home/" href="http://www.merseyvalley.com.au/home/" target="_blank">Mersey Valley Cheese</a>. (Seriously, Mersey Valley, we love your cheeses, they are the best).</p>
