In reply to lavodnas08. True that is also what I feel when I see those families. Some don't do it because of God's plan but because of liking to have a super big family. Surprisingly it's kinda selfish in a certain way. ;)

I give props to the dad when it comes to disciplining them though, it’s good to see that him and his wife are on the same page and that no matter if there are guests around, they will still discipline the unruly child(ren). Out of all the dads, he’s my favorite! Manseee!!!

I have seen “19 Kids and Counting” and you know…in my opinion what kind of lifestyle is that where you’re pregnant every year and a half or two years for all of your adult life? Is that they only way she can ejem… you know? I mean, that woman is a factory pumping out kids. I get that they believe in God’s plan, but to me; it’s not fair to have the eldest children care for the younger ones at all. It’s one thing to lend a brotherly hand, but as parents, they’re failing in that aspect of depending on their children to be the caregivers. I don’t think you give enough attention to each child individually.

Triplets are cute but a lot of work. You basically need everything 3X, lots of expenses. One kid is hard enough!

Oh gawd, nooooo. Twins at most (runs in the family so maybe can’t avoid it), but any more than two is just… nooooo. XD

After watching the show, it’s definitely a lot easier to watch the kids for 48 hours vs. all the time (although I get the feeling Song Il Gook is pretty hands on). Also, Song Il Gook said that he felt sooo bad for his wife when she was carrying them…she apparently ballooned and was in pain (obviously) and she was a tiny woman as well. Guys always talk about how many babies they want, but they aren’t carrying them! LOL

A coworker married when she was 40. Her and her husband decided to do only one round of childbearing because of her age. They ended up with triplets! She joked that God wanted her to have 3 kids total and since she was only doing it once, God gave them to her all at once.
