Haha now I'm hungry. For beef. >.<

From watching shows, I always wanted to eat Korean beef. And thought it was ridiculously expensive. I still would when I visit Korea, just for the experience. But yeah, I had the feeling that Australian beef was better just because there is so much cattle and everything. But I think wagyu (and kobe) definitely trumps both. I mean... *drools*. OMG CRAVINGS AT THIS HOUR :(

Now in Korea there is more of a focus on Australian beef actually. So they are starting to think Australian beef is really good. At a lot of restaurants there are signs proudly saying they have Australian beef. So I think that the fuss over Korean beef is more that they just really love beef and possibly some nationalistic tendency too. Also because beef is more expensive in Korea so they get more excited about it. But yeah, Korean beef is not wonderful or anything...

OMG. Perfect reminder for me to ask. I always watch variety shows and there's always a crazy fuss over Korean beef. As an Australian, the beef here is really yum (lol) compared to some parts of Asia (when I visited) so I've always wondered if Korean is really THAT delicious? I mean, compared to like, you know, Australian beef, wagyu beef, Angus beef etc. Or is it just the fact that Koreans tend to love everything Korean since they are generally so nationalistic?

I could survive a single veg meal a week, but i too prefer to have meat in each meal...

Elizabeth is on the SCD (specific carbohydrate diet), and that means no gluten and starchy foods, and no lactose (or very minimal and if is milk should be A2 milk)... This effects my diet a bit atm, but is more a worry as to how it is going to have to effect my diet in the future. I cook most of the time that we share meals, but she intends to do more in the future.. But she said the dietary needs will likely be ones she passes on genetically, and thus that means future kids will need it... Which means even more so, i cant have the gluten ect... She can not eat it and work round it, but is still a bit hard if i eat things she likes, but kids cant fatholm that, and deal with it :(

I know it will probably be good for me and i may get used to it... Doesnt mean I want the change.. I try to eat well and healthy in general with little bits of other stuff.... but it will be an interesting life.

Atm i do a lot of cleaning and cooking cos live with just house mates, will be nice having things balance between some one more again in the future... But will deal with that when it happens.
