Sometimes I forget that the majority of the audience for K-pop are the 12-15yr old Asian girls and they are the ones who are defining pop star masculinity and even femininity we see on media. The power is In their hand…it’s scary and comforting at the same time.

He can pull off the androgynous look so well, but without the makeup and in less runway-ish clothes there’s no mistaking him for a girl… but that’s one of the things I love about so many guys in kpop is how well they can blur the standardized definitions of beauty

I got used to Asian people now, but my mother thinks either they are feminine or ugly…I think japanese guys are way more androgynous than korean guys.

90s kpop when boys look like men sadly the skinny girly think is wats popular in the kpop industry.

Idk….just everyday korean men are more appealing… the make up n think I dont care but give me a guy that looks like 유지태 이병헝 박건형 and more….any day of the week there is nothing personally attractive about girly/fem type guys. I think its cuz I like older guys too n ususlly koreans born in mid to late 60s ,70s n early 80s usually are like the guys of todays gens n kpop guys is another ball game

Note. When I mean looks like I mean it interms of body n style.
