In reply to toplover. Wedding presents usually are things we need in our house. For example: kitchen stuff, blankets, towels, wine glasses, appliances. Some couples, if they have already been living together, may have everything they need already so they might ask for money for their honeymoon instead. But my husband and I didn't have much so we really appreciated the presents people gave us.

oh,I know how he felt … maybe reading is boring and tearing presents way too much interesting 😀 I wonder what kind of presents the newlywed get there. Here, we mostly give money to them.

That last paragraph was its own comic a while back if I recall correctly.
It is all well and good you guys are breaking the norm a bit with how all is managed and organized.

An amusing situation to watch. Totally understandable why he wasn’t reading the cards. Prob should have had you read them to him lol Or him use them for practice.
