Happens all the time in Asia. We were touring in China and they all couldn’t stop taking photos.. It was like being a celebrity just for being not-Chinese.

Oh ahjummas, unintentionally injuring us poor, unsuspecting Westerners. =P The funny thing is, if someone were to actually say something about their powerful pats, they’d probably just tell them not to be so wimpy instead of apologizing. =P

Your story reminds me of a story my parents told me a few times. Me, my brother and my parents where on an island somewhere near Thailand. And you needed to get there by boat. And when Asians came they always wanted to have me on the picture especially Japanese people. And well I know that Japanese people like to make pictures but I think it did freak me out from it because at some point whenever I saw a boat with Asians or any other way I would run away from them in the hope not to get on a picture.
^_^ Really this article really is actually like what I can remember from Asia. That you always get some kind of attention when your white even if your not asking for it. (Sometimes you might even get marriage proposals)

Ahahahahahah! Reminds me of the time I went to Korea and went to the public bathhouse. I refused to go but my aunties dragged me.. I literally stood there trying to cover myself up with those puny towels but my aunties took all the towels off me. I got slapped on the bum so many times by grandmas..Some of them even touched my breasts!! “You look like you’d give birth so well!” OMG..culture shock. and I am full Korean, brought up in a Korean-speaking household…but Aussie born. ahahaha. funny experience.
