Please tell me you have lotion tissues. Regular facial tissues are bad enough on your nose when you have a cold. Also, do Koreans use non-disposable towels a little more? In America we have strong, absorbent paper towels … and they’re advertised as being able to replace washcloths and sponges, which is convenient but not terribly eco-friendly.

I knew about the toilet paper as a housewarming gift but not as a multi-purpose paper product lol. It was interesting to learn about and I guess it does kind of make sense in a way. I just can’t imagine trying to clean with toilet paper like you would a paper towel because it falls apart so easily; it seems like you’d have to use a lot of it.

In reply to cherry. Koreans definitely use a lot of sarcasm in their humour. Of course if they aren't fluent in English and hear it in English they may not get it but that's more because of language differences. But in Korean they definitely say the exact opposite of what they mean in a dry way that is funny.

i’ve heard before that sarcasm doesn’t exist in japan (no idea if this is true, that’s just what i’ve heard), so i am just wondering if sarcasm exists in korea/korean culture?

lol that’s so true about lots of westerners being embarrassed buying toilet paper x’D

honestly i’ve also never thought about how many different types of disposable papers wipes we have o.o it is kinda complicated.
