I think that this isn’t as simple as you say it… I personally met his parents and they thought I looked nice and polite, but his mom is actually still against our relationship (we’ve been together for two years). Her reasons : my parents don’t have an enough nice job and I don’t earn a lot of money (I mean I only have a two-year-degree in communication, and it has no value here…). So yep, she wanted someone richer and more “diplomed”… We are still trying our best to please her, and I hope she will accept me in the future as we plan to get married. His dad is not against it, what so ever, that’s already a good start ! 🙂

Thanks for sharing so much of your life with the public ^^ And about visas: I don’t think people realize how absolutely awful visa systems are until they are in a relationship with someone foreign or have moved to a different country. One day I should write a book about visa problems and how to problem solve them. jk. Visa headaches/nightmares are some of the worst things ever!
